Naz Saleem had been working on the book for over six years since he first conceived someof the innovative
ideas found in this book during his time as a lecturer in Sheffield.
While working as an expatriate lecturer in Turkey, Naz was able to find some spare time to spend writing the book. Although the title of the book had something
to do with the new millennium, it eventually turned out to be on the Global Economic and Public Policy issues. In January 2014, Naz was able to publish a brief book on the future of higher education within the context of the Massive Open Online Courses or
MOOCs under the title 'The MOOCs in Higher Education: DIY Degrees and Diplomas'. Naz's latest book is on sovereign debt crisis and the end of Western economic hegemoney which you will find in this website under the title 'Sovereign Debt Crisis and Economic
Naz has spent most of his working life as an academic and a marketing professional in more than five different countries. He has a Masters degree in urban affairs and public policy from Virginia Tech and
an M Phil from School of Planning, Oxford Brookes. He is also a qualified Marketing professional and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. As an academic, he spent for over ten years teaching business and management related courses at undergraduate
and postgraduate levels in more than three countries, including the UK. For another ten years, Naz has been working both as a lecturer and in education management. Naz now lives in London with his family. While lecturing and engaging in education management
as well as consultancy, he is currently busy formulating a strategy for promoting the policy propositions that the reader finds in his books.
